Saving A Family Home For My Kids

  



    I am starting this Go Fund Me Page because I am 30 years old and disabled so I am on a set income with a 3 small children. I was passed down a house from my family once my grandfather died but then we had severe flooding in July of this year. That flooding has made the roof begin to fall in, the bathroom wall is cracking now and the basement flooded and left behind mold and the appliances are unuseable down there. Then to make matters worse I found out a few days ago there is a mortgage on the house that has not been paid for 6 years but they are now asking me to pay this. I have tried to consult with lawyers but they of course want money I don't have. Now my children are stuck not understanding why we can't go back home. They are 4, 3 and 1 and I just want to be able to go home. This house became uninhabitable so while we were gone squatters came in and damaged the property even more. I am just looking for help to rebuild my home. The mortgage they are asking for is $78,000 but I would only like if someone knows of a cheap lawyer to maybe pass their name along so I can try to talk to them. If anyone needs it at any time please email me for proof and I have no problem showing you what I have. I feel if I am asking for help then I can at least show you what I am asking for help to do.
