Stop Over-Development in High Park

The High Park Community Alliance is a group of homeowners and apartment residents who want to protect our High Park Neighbourhood from over-development in order to maintain our safe and green community beside one of the city's most beloved green spaces.
We are facing intense and unprecedented density increases from two large developers who are proposing 7 new buildings in a one block radius. These developments threaten many elements of what make our community so strong.
Not only will they double the current population density in our stable family-oriented community, they will result in the removal of green spaces, trees, as well as existing amenities for current residents, such as outdoor pools and safe walkways.
In order to oppose this "apartment infill", we require legal assistance to go up against the big guys. The legal fees will not be small. That's why we're asking for your help.
Please make a donation and help us maintain a community dedicated to diverse residents, families, pets, and smart urban planning that is in harmony with the larger High Park area.
Our goal is large and we aim to raise as much as we can by the end of April 2017 to be ready plead our case either in moderation or with the Ontario Municipal Board with legal representation.
