HHHS Baseball: Flood Recovery
Spende geschützt
Herbert Hoover HS Baseball is asking for your help! Over the time period of June 2015 through March 2016, a devoted group of volunteers made much needed improvements to Herbert Hoover's Jeff Holliday Field. Over $80,000 was raised along with numerous donations of labor and materials. The before and after photos are a testament to the work completed. Sadly, on the evening of June 23, 2016 all the improvements were severely damaged by historic flooding.
Next season, the Herbert Hoover Huskies will be playing baseball at Jeff Holliday Field. That promise has been made to the student athletes and will be kept. The time to repair the field is now! Over the next two months the field drains will need repaired, new infield dirt mix spread, warning track material layed and new sod installed. The climate in our region requires these repairs now even though the season is several months away.
Please consider supporting the baseball team at Herbert Hoover High School. Your monetary gift will provide the necessary funds to get our student athletes back on the field next spring. Your kindness is greatly appreciated and much needed.
