The Herrera Family Home Fund

This page was created to help a family that we all know and love. Fredy, Claudia and Joseph Herrera are currently going through a difficult situation and I'm turning to our friends & family to ask for any help possible in order to get them back on their feet. In April 2015 the Herrera's became homeless due to construction defects and major structural problems due to termite damage which lead to the demolition of their home. During this process, all of their belonging and furniture were destroyed due  to flooding and rain. Due to a lack of economic support to rebuild it, they have been staying with several family members for the past year.

Within a month of this unfortunate event, Fredy became unemployed and has found it difficult to find a steady job since. Claudia - a surgical technician is supporting the household along with whatever income can be gathered from Freddy's independent jobs. For those of you who know Joseph (my 10 year old brother), this situation has now started to affect his studies. His teachers have noticed a lack of concentration and when confronting Joseph, his stated that "he's going through a lot of stress right now without a home". This broke my heart.

Having the sufficient funds to rebuild their home is a priority for them and they are giving it all they've got. Unfortunately, it is not enough and obtaining a loan is not a plausible option due to their financial standing.

I am asking for any financial help possible for the Herrea family as they rebuild their lives and home. This situation has impacted their health and stability as a family. Those of you who know them, know that they are very loving and giving people with those who surround them-- colleagues, friends, family and complete strangers.

They will be beyond thankful and appreciative of being able to rebuild their family home and lives, thanks to you!!
