Expressing my SHEER FRUSTRATION AND FEELING OF HOPELESSNESS AND DESPAIR AND FEAR I WILL BE HOMELESS "AGAIN"
THAT HASN'T HAPPENED IN OVER 10 YEARS.
Thanks to being permanently injured as a passenger in a vehicle, I thought I was finally going to be able to buy what I need to live out my dream. After living my whole life well below poverty level, I did what I thought was the right thing with the lump sum. Although I did my very best at bookkeeping and thought I was being responsible and doing everything by the book, I was not aware of the need to account for every dollar I was awarded. It was MY Money for Compensation of a permanent injury. Understand the S.S.I. portion of the disability I've been eligible for and receiving since 1992 until I reported my cash settlement as of Sept. 2016.
SSI is awarded as SUPPLEMENTAL SECURITY INCOME if a person's SSDI is under a set amount. Because I did not keep perfect or NEAR PERFECT records of my spend down, I'm being denied that I need the SUPPLEMENTAL to the SSDI income, even though my bank account has been ZERO BALANCE since Feb 2016, my income remains only the SSDI which is insurance I paid into. How else can I live without the extra money keeping my income -@ $547 per Mo., back up to the $790 plus I had been receiving until Sept. of 2015. So, my SSDI income sustained me until then and my personal life went through some extreme changes including starting and ending a new relationship, moving, and trying to pay bills once I became single again my income is now only $547 per month.
I FEEL I AM GOING TO LOSE EVERYTHING
AND I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA BE LIVING A GOOD LIFE, NOW I MIGHT END UP LOSING THAT AS WELL.
