This is the face of Common Core...

It is the face of my own child. This is what Common Core has created. I am a single mom, working at home as a freelance writer so that I can raise her and homeschool her next year... because of Common Core. Many don't have that option. 

I have been working less and fighting Common Core more, for our kids, for families who don't have options, for our teachers, for our way of life, and finances are dwindling.

I fight with my blog Conversations in Boulder County , my book Common Core and the Truth: A Parent's Journey Into the Heart of the Core (which I make no money from), speaking to people to raise awareness, and volunteer efforts with ParentLedReform-Colorado.  Visit us on Facebook at PLRColorado.

My blog is about to expire and I cannot afford to renew it. In addition, I am volunteering my time and resources to this effort with ParentLedReform-Colorado, but cannot continue to do so without a little help.
