Helping The Murray-Gomez Family

My name is Daysi, I live in Edmonton, Alberta and my son Mateo's (10 years old) best friend Jack (10 years old) and his family have been greatly affected by the 
Californian Wildfires in Santa Rose.
When our friends contacted us to let us know of what they are going through we felt burden by the news, Mateo quickly wanted to put a plan in action. This is why we have started this page for our friends. Late Sunday night early Monday October 9, Jack and his family left their home to find refuge at an evacuation centre. Never imaging that they would have left with only the clothes they were wearing that morning. This family of eight , consisting of six children all under the age of eleven  are in desperate financial need. They need help in order to try to rebuild their lives. All the funds collected will be used to buy food, clothing, furniture and other house hold items. Currently they are staying with a family that graciously gave them two bedrooms in their home to stay in.  They have Rental Insurance but very minimal.
Let's rally around this family that is in much need, to help them cope with what they're going through.
