Helping a Hero (Officer Irizarry)

Springfield Police Officer Edwin Irizarry was shot twice on his arm while responding to a fight on State Street, Springfield, MA.  As other members of his squad were rescuing him, the armed suspect then fled the scene and was later captured. Edwin was released from Bay State Hospital the following day and is currently recuperating at home. 

Edwin and his wife have two girls age 2, a girl age 15 and a boy age 12. .  Donations will help the family.
