Help feed the stray cats

Hello! A little intro about me,and my cause.

My name is Elena,im from Bulgaria,EU,and im a ..''cat-addict'' :))

I feed strays when i have resources,i bring them to the vet when theyre ill or injured,because i CANNNOT just bypass an injured animal,like most of people would do,and leave it agonizing.

In my country,just like in Ukraine,and Russia,and Romania,we have huge problem with the stray cats and dogs OVERpopulation.The authorities NEVER took responsibility about the thousands of suffering animals on the street,not that they take responsibilities for everything else,but anyhow.

Hundreds of homeless animals,daily die from illnesses,being hit by car,vicious people poison them(purposely!),and also last,but not least,they die from starvation/which leads to illnessess/.

There are many people who love animals here,they take care of them on their own,they pay the bills at the vet from their own pocket,they give their last cents to get the cats some food........I have done it many times,i search foster homes for them,which is also very very hard...Its just one uncontrollable overpopulation.But i keep tryin!Even when there is no help/nevermind whether moral or financial/.

As much as i want to feed every cat around me,i cannot do it,because it takes much finances ,and in that poor contry is hard to have extra finances...My heart brakes everytime ,when one of the cats im taking care of,cames meowing to my door,crying for some food...And i dont have it most of times.

So ive decided to ask for help here.

Where i live,there are about 9 big cats(most of them u can see on pic No1)(two are missing on the pictures),most of them are female,and each one of them got pregnant...some of the kittens survived,some died,because they couldnt survive the damage of Herpes virus most of strays have, some disapeared into thin air.God knows what harsh faith they have suffered:(.

SO right now,there are about 7 three months old kittens,and 3 one month old kittens,and this is only around the building where i live!(see pic No2,some of them were missing today).










Where i work...the back of the building have large yard,and also most of the big cats are female..each one of them got pregnant with at least 4 kittens...three months later(when they showed up for first time) i can count only 7-8 of them.Big cats are about 17,probably more!!IProbably forgot someone to count,and i couldnt take pictures of all of them today,most were missing because of the heath,they hide in cold places. i Could not take closer pictures of them,because these fellows are very timid.I only feed those,unfortunaly,cannot pet them :(.




So In total,there are about 40 cats,that im taking care of.Impossible task for just ONE person.

And yes,i keep count of them,hoping everyday that ALL of them  will show up when i call them...

I calculated that for a month,if they eat properly, i am going to need approx 60 kg of food for all of them(+40 cats) (average dosage of 50 grams per cat per day). I feed them average class of dry food Purina,which is about 5$ for kg. here ,and that will cost 300$ for the whole month.I will add more 30$ for the site fees.

I hope i didnt made a mistake in my calculations,im not exactly ''close'' with math:)

When you read this,know that ...i cannot find the right words to describe it,but its like a war field here,i see dead(smashed) animals on the streets daily...its just horrible scene,and it upsets me to maximum...and maybe.. when i feed the cats,i make myself feel better,because i know i made someone feel just a lil bit happier:) And with full stomach! hehe

So..if anyone decide to donate a cent or two for my cause,i will be very thankful ,God bless!
