Please consider helping my daughter, Destiny. She helps others, especially me, and now when she needs help I can't do it alone. Help me help my Destiny.
I am a single mother with Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomypathy, Congestive Heart Failure, Hypertention, Fibromyalgia and chronic Lyme disease (aka Post-treatment Lyme disease Syndrome). Lyme Disease is an awful and debilitating disease that spreads to all areas of the body including the brain. Now the disease has spread to my brain causing neurological symptoms like tremors, cognitive difficulties and loss of motor functions. Destiny also has Fibromyalgia and chronic Lyme disease but she still takes care of me.
Recently my neurological symptoms have increased. I have been increasingly having short term memory loss, cognitive dificulties, have had several seizures and T.I.A.s. I had an MRI done and they found a brain tumor. They don't believe it is cancer but can't be certain so "we shall watch it" is the doctor's plan. That is a scary thing. So they gave me meds to help with my seizures and sent me home. As for my other symptoms there isn't much they can do about that. Some days I need help doing basic things like walking or dressing myself. But this gofundme isn't for me, it is for Destiny because it is her who needs help now. I just wanted you to know that she takes such good care of me. I am sad that I can't take care of her. But I am hopeful that with help from you, together we can get her the help she needs.
Destiny needs her 4 wisdom teeth removed (there is no room in her mouth so it is crowding her teeth, moving her other teeth and causing her pain) and she has a front tooth that got chipped that really needs a root canal. She doesn't have dental insurance. She is in college but she took this semester off so she can make enough money for this and for a crown for me. I have a broken front tooth that my crown just fell off. So I need a crown too. So that's 4 impacted wisdom teeth needing removal, 1 root canal procedure and two crowns (she'll need one after the root canal.) That is a huge dental bill. She is working 2 part-time jobs trying to save the money but her body is wearing out from it. She can't keep it up. Which is why I am asking so desparatly for your help. If we raise the money soon then she won't break her body or get more ill by working so much. Every day when she comes home she is in so much pain because having Fibromyalgia and chronic Lyme disease makes it hard for her to work that much. It breaks my heart that I can't help her.
