Rebuild Nepal

On March 5th we will begin our trip to Nepal with a sole purpose; to help rebuild the infrastructure of Shree Prabhat Primary school. After seeing the incredible work our friend facilitates through Reach for Nepal Foundation , we decided we wanted to help!
For 2-3 weeks of our trip we will be volunteering our time to a Reach Foundation project by building a new classroom on the second story at Shree Prabhat Primary School. This building was previously affected by an earthquake and remains in-tact (enough) but with over 31 children in year 1 alone, this means each classroom is tightly packed. More space = extracurricular activities, parent-teacher meetings, school committee meetings and also relocating a classroom if need be.
The total amount of this project is $5625 which will cover the costs of all building materials and local labourer wages. We aim to raise any amount close to that and appreciate any and every donation, big or small. Please know that all funds raised will pay for this Reach Foundation project & that the time and effort of Reach board members and those associated with the foundation is provided on a voluntary basis.
For us, this is more than just a hands on experience. By spending time with the children and teachers of Shree Prabhat Primary, we will understand just how much our/your contribution will affect and differ the lives of what makes up this community.
