Help us honor John Cobb's Legacy

John J. Cobb of Medford, NJ left us too soon at the young age of 49.
He touched so many people, and his friends in the community in which he lived would like to help raise funds to properly honor him and his legacy by carrying out some of John's goals for the Medford Baseball Program.
For those of you who knew John, you understand the importance family, community, and baseball had in his life. He was a selfless man who always wanted to do so much to help others.
John's passion was supporting the Medford Baseball Program, and John was the leader of all things baseball in our town. John was an active participant and was a lead organizer of the “Buddy Ball” program. “Buddy Ball” is a local program that gives special needs children from all across South Jersey the opportunity to play baseball along side a local high school baseball player. John was also a key contributor to the Medford Killer “B” Baseball Tournament, which has helped raise money for the Medford Baseball Program for the last 10+ years. John's hard work and dedication made it possible for every baseball player in Medford, NJ to enjoy years of fun and enjoyment on the baseball diamond.
Our goal is to thank and remember John every time kids play baseball, whether it’s a Medford team playing a home game, a visiting team playing in the newly dedicated "Medford John Cobb Memorial Killer “B” Baseball Tournament" or a special needs child playing “Buddy Ball”.
To honor John’s vision for the Medford baseball community, we want to raise funds for these items that John always talked about:
1. Install an electronic scoreboard on Field #3 of the Hartford Crossing Baseball Complex. Field #3 will be dedicated to John and named the "John J. Cobb Memorial Field”.
2. Install a Monument at Field #3 dedicated to John.
3. Create banners to recognize Medford Renegade Cal Ripken District, State and Regional championship teams.
4. Install a playground at the baseball complex for younger children and siblings.
