We wanted to start a gofundme to help raise money for Krystal and I while we stay here with Haley in Albany. When we came down here we didn't know what to expect. We are currently awaiting to travel to Boston children's hospital or children's hospital of Philadelphia. We've been picking up supply's for Haley as needed as trying to get things for our selves. we didn't have much when we came down here originally maybe about 70$ and that ran out in just a few days as we aren't given food here just Haley is.
Haley suffers from a Plural Effusion known as Chylothorax where she has a build up for Chyle fluid in her chest in the space between her lungs and her chest cavity. currently we have been here about 9 days and it hasn't gotten better she has a tube inserted into her chest to drain the fluid. shes had a pretty constant flow of fluid. as of 2 days ago an infection called strep midus has started and shes been pretty weak. were trying to make here comfortable but theirs not much Krystal and I can do. she has 2 Antibiotics , an air tube for her lungs a medicine to help give here IV nutrients and more connected to her. shes already had her right lung collapse once and there afraid it will happen again. we've been in the ICU this whole time.
The money that we would receive would go towards anything Haley needs that the hospital doesn't have, as well as gas for our car, for hygiene supplies , food for ourselves and bills as Krystal has been relived of work because of this. not to mention once she goes to a new hospital whither its B.C.H or C.H.O.P we wouldn't have money to get there or support ourselves out there. Even the littlest of donations can help us.
