Help us get a Partnership Visa to stay together

Donation protected
We are desperate to apply for a partnership visa so that we can stay together at a cost of $7160 which we need to pay by the 25th of February 2019. Due to a series of unfortunate events we do not have access to such funds on our own and now need your help!

I have been putting this off for weeks hoping that some other option would present itself. We were hoping for sponsorship through work or another option other than having to ask others for help. Unfortunately all other options have been exhausted and we do not have a choice.

Here is our story!

Ming and I met in March 2017 at Montes Bar in Alice Springs NT, and have been together since.

After several months of living together, and the possibility of the Australian Government passing Marriage Equality, I asked Ming to marry me one late night in Alice Springs in September 2017.
He said yes and we travelled to Adelaide in November to celebrate this in front of close family and friends.

Ming and I were married in a small ceremony at Cullen Bay in Darwin on the 22nd of September 2018 and celebrated at Lola's Pergola with a select group of friends and family, some who travelled from all over Australia and from around the world to join us.

Ming is a Taiwanese National and his two year working holiday visa will run out on the 14th March this year, 2019.
I am originally from Adelaide but have spent the best part of the last 12 years living and working in the Northern Territory  with indigenous people. I currently work for an NGO supporting people at risk of homelessness in the Katherine region.

Ming was in stable employment over several jobs in Alice Springs and my position within the government organisation I worked for was secure and we both enjoyed our life there immensely.
In December 2017 we were coerced into moving from Alice Springs to Katherine NT with my job at the time under the false pretence of a substantial pay rise for myself and job with the high possibility of sponsorship for Ming. We were also guaranteed of full reimbursement for moving cost.
We discussed this and agreed that even though we did not know anyone in Katherine and would be leaving close family and friends in Alice Springs, it would be the best thing for our future together.

Unfortunately none of the above was to be and we were stranded in Katherine, homeless and left in financial ruin after trying to make things work for several months at a job that was less than supportive or accountable. We were left over $10,000 out of pocket.
Attempts to rectify this through unions and industrial avenues has proven to be drawn out and expensive process and we have had to abandon this recently due to not having funds to pay lawyers needed. The hope was that compensation gained from this would cover the Visa costs and the small wedding we had in September.

Since May 2108 we have made a life for ourselves in Katherine, both obtained stable jobs and are almost out of the debt incurred by the  initial events of moving here.
We have made Katherine home and are invested in the community both through our jobs and life in general.
We even had an article written about us in the NT Resident magazine!

The thought of Ming having to return to Taiwan is more than I can bare as I want to be together for the rest of our lives to build a life together in Australia.

We would both be eternally grateful if anyone could help us reach our goal of $7160 to enable us to stay together.
