Many of you probably know my great friend Mike Maharrey. Mike is what I like to refer to as a "real libertarian," and his resume shows it:
National communications director for the Tenth Amendment Center
Author of several books, including "Our Last Hope: Rediscovering the Lost Path to Liberty"
Host of multiple programs including "Godarchy," "Thoughts from Maharrey Head," and "SportsBall"
Writes and produces videos for Schiff Gold
This guy even is actively fighting Lexington, KY, in court over FOIA requests related to surveillance by the local authorities in violation of their 4th Amendment rights.
Mike is a machine and an unbelievable inspiration to those who want to stand up and make a difference. No one could rightfully accuse Maharrey of being someone who sits on the sidelines, and I couldn't ask for a better partner in crime on the projects we've teamed up for, much less a better friend.
Mike and his wife Cynthia (pictured), along with Cynthia's mom, are in the process of moving from their home in Lexington to Jacksonville, FL. The purpose of this move is so Mike can be closer to his mom as she battles cancer for the 2nd time.
I'm sure Mike would prefer to keep his business as private as possible, and way more often than not he's looking for ways to give to those in need rather than ask for help. So, I'm going to ask for him. For the love I have for my friend and the positive influence he's been on me, I ask you to donate what you can to help lessen the burden of the relocation costs for the Maharreys and maybe a little extra to help them as they dig in for the good fight.
Mike has done much and more for members of our community near and far, and I know with a little help from his friends, he'll be back to the grind for all of us in no time.
