I was very sad to hear that an elderly woman of 92 was robbed of her purse and money while shopping in Castle Douglas.
I would encourage everyone who can to donate what they can so that her money and purse can be replaced.
After such a shocking and frightening experience; I hope this little act of kindness will go some way towards giving the lady her confidence back.
