SGVCityWatch.com is a grassroots digital news platform bringing breaking public safety news to the San Gabriel Valley’s 46 cities and more than 1.4 million residents.
Although the San Gabriel Valley is a beautiful place filled with a rich tapestry of art and culture, it is certainly home to crime, which affects everyone.
I have made running http://www.sgvcitywatch.com/ my full-time focus, which is why I need your help.
Covering breaking crime news across the San Gabriel Valley is a daunting task, but one I am passionate about. I believe that the news is the right of the people to have.
News organizations that establish paywalls, subscription fees, article limits and more are placing barriers between readers and the information that is theirs to begin with.
In order to better serve my 11,700 followers and to reach more residents in the San Gabriel Valley, I’ve set a goal of $18,000 for a year to make ends meet (rent, utilities & food).
With your help, I can give you better situational awareness of crime in your communities by conducting timely follow ups with law enforcement, taking better photos, video and more.
