Help Rich Mahoney keep his family together

Family Court can become easily weaponized by many “parents” who seek only to destroy the other parent. Petitions full of outright lies are filed every day with the intent on ruining someone financially, hurting the relationships of parents and their children or sometimes with the intent of sending the other parent to jail!
Almost eight years ago a family fought with everything they had to get custody of a tiny little girl who, when she was less than two months old suffered at least seven major broken bones and a myriad of other injuries. She suffered this unspeakable abuse at the hands of her father while her mother watched. The father who is serving 14 years in prison for his actions still maintains that the “mother” was responsible for it all. The “mother” has chosen not to be in this little girl’s life and has refused to support her in any way.
Almost six years ago that same “mother” had a second daughter with a young man who was way too young to be a dad. Being too young didn’t deter him though from stepping up and making sure this little angel was provided for and well taken care of and most of all, loved. He worked hard to make sure she had everything she ever needed.
True to form, the “mother” abandoned this second little angel and her daddy when she was eight months old. She left the daddy to care for this little angel all by himself. That’s OK though because Daddy did a great job taking care of her and eventually he found a new love who became the best mommy a little girl could ever want and helped him raise her to be the beautiful little girl she’s become. Rich and Savannah take great care of this little girl and with her little brother, they are her whole world.
Almost as if on a whim, the “mother” decided she wanted to play “mommy”. Instead of easing back into the little girl’s life, she stormed back into the scene with a vengeance filing one Family Court petition after another in an effort to rip her from the only family she’s ever known. Her first experiences with Family Court taught her how to manipulate the system very well.
The parents of the first little girl have become very close with Rich and Savannah. The girls are very close and even though they don’t know just how close they really are, there is a bond there that’s unmistakable. They often find themselves in contact with the “mother” during various conflicts but not once has she asked about their little girl.
Rich has been petitioned into Family Court several times recently to defend himself against malicious and false allegations by the “mother” in her efforts to take the little girl from him. She has now filed several Child Protective Services complaints in the past three months, (all deemed unfounded).
The “mother” doesn’t work so she gets a free Attorney to represent her in Court. Rich works hard to support his family but certainly doesn’t have the money to be able to afford a good Attorney.
As Rich prepares for an upcoming hearing, he knows his whole world depends on the outcome. He also knows that no matter how much extra he works, he’ll never earn enough money to be able pay for an good attorney to help him win this fight. Everyone involved knows the depths this “mother” will go to destroy everyone to get what she wants. They also know how much Rich and Savannah have done to be the best Daddy and Mommy a little girl could ever ask for.
