Help Replace Julia Lank's Stolen Skates!

Our friend Julia had her roller derby skates stolen yesterday. 

This is a huge blow to her, as training to join a roller derby team is a passion she's been working on all year, and it's been a huge boon to her mental health, helping her get through rough times. She has found such joy in thinking of roller derby names, going to skate practice, and telling her friends all about her new project!

Julia Lank is a leader in our community as a theatrical producer, graphic designer, improviser, stage manager, actor, host, and good friend. She always tries her best to be a courageous individual who is there for her friends, and is known locally for being an incredibly clever improviser and dreamer. She can make amazing things happen, and she does, finding time in her incredibly busy schedule to help everyone all the time. (We think she may have a time turner). 

Having her skates stolen is a huge setback, as good roller derby skates run about EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS (what!??), and those are hard to save up for, especially for a person steeped in the arts for a career (and the arts community needs her so much!).

A basic pair of skates costs about 150.00, but as Julia is really serious about pursuing this, I think it makes more sense for her to get 800.00 to get a new pair. And the sooner the better, so she can roll back into the rink asap.
