URGENT!!
Carlos* is a 21-year old young man from El Salvador and previously had DACA but has been unable to renew it. As a child in the U.S., Carlos suffered years of sexual abuse at the hands of a family friend. Carlos’ parents have not provided him with the support that he needs and, in fact, Carlos dropped out of school in order to work full time to help provide for his siblings. Not surprisingly, he suffers from depression as a result of the years of trauma and abuse that he has endured. Carlos needs to get out of detention to access the services that he needs as a survivor of sexual assault and to work with his pro bono attorney on his immigration case.
Carlos’ immigration bond is set at $10,000 and needs to get paid by August 15th. PLEASE HELP!!
