Help Refugees

Refugee families fleeing war need simple, practical help as they work toward become self-sufficient in new homes. By offering a hand-up to these women, men, and children, we uplift our community materially and spiritually. 

I will use donations received in this GoFundMe account to buy non-food household supplies and items at the Costco warehouse store, where I have a fully paid-up membership. 

Laundry soap is the most popular request today! We also need toilet paper, garbage bags, paper towels, sanitary napkins, dishwashing liquid, aluminum foil, light bulbs, and similar consumable items. 

Any donation of $50 or more will go toward the purchase of another much-requested item, a rice cooker. Using my Amazon Prime membership I can get one for $20.

The photo I've used for this campaign shows refugees named Najah, Hand, and Lara, from a news story I found on Google. To protect the privacy of those I am helping, their individual portraits and stories will not be shared here.

I am finding great joy, humility, and gratitude in assisting refugee families. Through joining me I believe that you, too, may find these blessings.
