Help Protect Each Other At Hartshorn!
Donation protected
As most of you know, our beloved Chico was killed in a tragic and freak accident at Hartshorn last summer. He was relaxing and enjoying the game in the confines of his mom's doggy backpack when a foul ball changed our lives forever. As someone who has played softball at Hartshorn for almost 15 years, I know how many balls a night land in foul ball territory, but never really gave it much thought as how someone could truly be affected by it. This campaign is to raise money to give everyone piece of mind when they are at the field, to sit and cheer on their friends, get ready for their upcoming game, or keep their children safe while enjoying the games throughout the summer. The netting will be built in and around the concessions stand, and lengthen the existing netting, so as to prevent another tragedy that could have been avoided. Thank you in advance for any and all donations, and please leave your dogs at home when coming to the field!
