Pops is our Shop Manager, Yard Supervisor, Mechanic and Honorary Grandfather here at Seeds of Change. Originally from Los Angeles CA., Pops lived in Louisiana before being displaced by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and settling in Knoxville, Tennessee with us. Pops is a central part of our culture and is known for being a patient teacher and practical joker.
Pops was living in the streets of Knoxville for a little while after having to move to Knoxville after the hurricane. With this fundraiser we are hoping to be able to buy him a trailer in which he can stay. We should be able to accomplish this with a $4,000 budget.
Pops enjoys woodworking and fishing, as well as being involved in charitable causes that give back to the community. He is proficient in at least 7 industrial trades and can often be found mentoring our newest members, while also keeping up his standard of shop organization and cleanliness.
He is a good man with a big heart, and really means the world to us here at Seeds of Change. We feel truly blessed that the Lord has brought us all together for this journey. And we hope that you will help us reach this fantastic goal.
