Help Nicolas Start His Racing Career

Hey!!
My name is Nicolas Siriwardhana. I am a 21 year old, 3rd year student at McGill University, studying Mechanical Engineering. For as long as I can remember, my dream has been to one day race professionally. I raced go-karts a bit when I lived in Sri Lanka, however, I could never gather the funds to properly start racing due to certain financial complications I faced throughout my life. Go-karting as you may or may not know is an expensive sport, and thus one I cannot afford.
My goal is to start professionally racing in the “Rotax MAX” go-kart class at the “Coupe De Montreal” Karting Championship this summer onwards, then at the Canadian Open – Rotax MAX Challenge next year, and hopefully, in the coming years to finally move on to the formula racing series (Canadian formula 3 championship). I truly believe that I have the talent to go up the ranks in Canadian motorsports and excel.
The “coupe de Montréal” karting championship, is a series of 6 races at several tracks near Montreal which will run between May and September. As I could not gather the funds on time to start, I missed the first two races of the season, however, the next race is on the 23rd of June, for which I am aiming to take part in.
However, to kick start my racing career, I need a helping hand. I have been trying to save up money to start for almost a year and a half now, but it is almost impossible since I have to sustain myself on a very tight student budget.
To meet my strict necessary needs to start go-kart racing, my aim is to raise a total of C$7800. Breakdown as per below:
Go-Kart : ~C$6500
Racing Suit : ~C$400
Helmet: ~C$200
Racing Gloves : ~C$100
Racing Shoes : ~C$140
Other Racing Equipment and competition fees : ~C$160
Spare Go-Kart Tires : ~C$300
Without your generous support, the start of my racing career would not be possible; Any help you give will be a catalyst to accomplishing my dream. Any amount is fantastic and it all adds up and makes a big difference so I am grateful for any help however large or small.
Thank you for taking the time to read through this. I truly hope that you will embark on this journey with me and help me make my childhood dream come true! I hope I can prove my potential in the years to come. Thanks for believing in me.
