Help my father stay in his home
Donation protected
Hello, my name is Donald and my 93 year old father Domenic received, the last week in June, a letter from the bank that he was in foreclosure for missing three months payments on his credit line. I have been helping him as much as I can, but now all my financial resources have been exhausted. The bank stated that an amount of $9212.62 was needed to cancel the foreclosure, however the bank also stated my father owes $2919.62 for those past due months. We have been living in this home since 1955, and it is my hope the funds can be raised to remove the foreclosure and allow me to make other arrangements to secure a permanent solution. Both my father and myself would be most grateful to any who would wish to make a donation on his behalf.
Last year, my father has endured a downturn in his health, starting with a gallbladder removal, and while he was recuperating in the hospital, needed an emergency pacemaker implanted and the permanent pacemaker a few days later in a separate surgery. He has been on oxygen since the surgeries. Later in the year he fell and broke his left hip, necessitating a partial hip replacement. He has made significant improvement from that surgery, but has now been diagnosed with COPD and needs to wear a BiPAP mask at night while sleeping. He now needs constant care and my sisters and brother are also giving support in his rehab and daily needs, with my youngest sister Donna providing for his most important needs.
My greatest fears are that we might lose our home and it would have an extremely detrimental impact on my fathers health.
Thank you for taking the time in reading about my fathers situation.
