Our Brucey is only 4 Mo. old. I'm only 18. Today, Brucey bear missed a stair and fell fracturing his bone in a place that requires a special surgerey. Distal Humerus Type lll, Salter Harris Fracture. It's right by his joint, and now he needs pins and rods, OR, we'll HAVE TO PUT HIM DOWN.
I'm only 18, and work part time while going to school. My boyfriend goes to college, and isn't working. WE are asking for your help. We are young, and Brucey's is our baby. We have no way to pay for this freak accident. Bruce was in so much pain today, I cried all day.
Tonight he is in the hospital awaiting surgery. The first bill was 300.00. That vet couldn't do surgery, but sedated him to go into LA. The next bill they had me sign at ASEC (hospital) was 1,462.48. For vet exam/sedation and his hospital over night. The surgery estimate is 4,492.87. With an additional cost of another over night stay at 1200.00 for recovery.
We don't know yet if he will need rehabilitation therapy, they said he might because he's so young. So for now we are asking for your help to meet the immediate 7500 in cost to save his life!
We hate asking for help. My part time job while going to school pays for very little. I have nothing left over.
