Help me keep my daughters safe, please.

On November 16, 2011 I left my ex-husband and children’s father due to years of physical and mental abuse. Unfortunately, I was not able to keep him from having custody of the girls despite how scared I was that he would eventually turn his rage towards them. Well, the worst has happened, and he is now in jail for being violent against one of my precious daughters. However, that does not guarantee that I can keep him away totally. We have a temporary restraining order in place right now and I am fighting him for full custody of the girls. To do this properly, we need legal representation. Legal representation would guarantee we will be able to protect our girls moving forward. While we are able to pay our bills, this is an expense we simply can’t afford and are asking for help. While pride would normally prevent me from doing something like this, my girls are too important for me to put pride first. Anything you could give to help our family stay safe and mentally healthy would be the best gift we could receive right now. Thank you for your consideration.
