HELP ME JOIN COSI FOR COWS FOR CAMBODIA

For a while now I have been wondering how I can give back to the community and I think there is a lot more value in contributing my time and skill set rather than just a financial donation.
Cambodia is one of the world’s poorest nations with a high percentage of the population living in the rural areas.On my recent trip, particularly learning about the Cambodian Genocide which happened literally just before I was born, really brought into focus how much can happen to a group of people and yet they are always smiling and happy with what they have, happy that things are better than what they used to be and not constantly wanting more.
I want to contribute to that happiness by volunteering my time and skills to Cows for Cambodia with Cosi in the upcoming November Tour, but to get there I need your help!
Cambodian rural families dream to own a cow but the reality is that at around $650US a cow, 80% of families will never be able to afford one. Cows for Cambodia is essentially a “COW BANK”. We loan families a pregnant cow, they must look after it and when it has the baby they get to keep the baby and we take our cow back. It’s more about providing an opportunity to break the poverty cycle rather than a direct handout.
By donating to help me go on this tour, I will be able to assist in working with the cows and families, cook nutrtitious food at the schools for the children, help run English lessons and assist in building houses for families in need. Please help me join this worthy cause and give back to the community in an amazing way.
