**UPDATE**
LUCKY received all he needed for his travels to his new home in NC through several different donation channels. THANK YOU SO MUCH TO ALL WHO DONATED! We will update with pictures and info when Lucky arrives in NC.

Lucky is an amazing dog at Pawsitive Rescue Armenia who was rescued in a very sad state after having acid or boiling water poured on him in an act of horrific animal cruelty. He has had a long road to recover, but is finally healed and needs everyone’s help to fly to his new forever home in North Carolina.

$650 is needed for Lucky’s travel to Dulles airport in Virginia and $300 for his new family to come from North Carolina meet him and bring him the rest I the journey home ❤️

Lucky was one of the worst cases of abuse we ever seen. The shelter received an emergency call regarding him and we couldn't even imagine what we would witness when we set out to rescue him. His whole skin was burnt, most probably with hot water or acid. The liquid was also poured into his eyes, which resulted in difficulties with his vision. The state that we found him in was heartbreaking and horrendous. The Vet gave him very little chance of survival, but we believe every dog deserves a chance and had to fight. With our great doctors and the help of a loving and caring special volunteer, we were able to save him.

It took three months of very hard and painful treatments, but finally we can say that Lucky is well and ready to be adopted. His vision has improved, his skin has healed, and new hair started growing. He is a sweet boy who loves attention. Despite all the pain and suffering that he has been through, he still loves and trusts people. This is the most amazing thing about dogs, the capability to forgive. For sure we have a lot to learn from them…

Now there is a great opportunity for Lucky to fly to North Carolina, where he will be united with his forever home. The family who is adopting him, is simply the best. We couldn't even dream about this. They already adopted four other disabled dogs from us and there is s chance for this little fur baby to have a great home, feel love and be cared for.

Every donation helps, regardless of size, and with your generous assistance, we will be able to send Lucky to his loving new family after everything he has been through.

THANK YOU!

ABOUT PAWSITIVE RESCUE ARMENIA:

We are a NO-Kill, Non-Profit organization, based in Yerevan, Armenia. We save and rescue dogs who have been injured, abused, neglected. We also do sterilization for decreasing the stray dog population.

Pawsitive works hard to create a culture of adoption amongst the local people and villages. We also have projects with local orphanages, and work with kids, especially with have special needs.

Moreover, we work towards the goal for Armenia to implement very strict laws against animal cruelty, make Armenia a dog/animal loving country, and combat the severe overpopulation of stray dogs.

WHY ANOTHER FUNDRAISER?
Pawsitive Rescue has received lots of TV & radio news coverage lately in Armenia, which has been absolutely great in bringing local attention to their organization and what they do. In turn though, It has significantly increased the amount of emergency calls they are receiving and with every call comes a cost to Pawsitive; transportation, medical, care, & food.

Thank You!

LUCKY MADE IT TO NORTH CAROLINA THANKS TO YOU!

This is another example that miracles do happen, and with love and care anything is possible. Pawsitive Rescue is thankful to Anais for treating him and fostering him for months. This would not have been possible without her.

We are grateful to Amy and Lily for opening their hearts and doors to another Armenian dog. In the pictures, Lucky is being introduced to Sevo and Oddie, both from Armenia too, at his new home in North Carolina. Amy says it felt as if they new that Lucky was from Armenia too.

Thank you to everyone who helped us with his travel expenses. This wouldn’t have been possible without you!

From being burnt, almost blind and lost on the streets, to the happiest life ever ❤️
Happy life, our sweet boy❤️
