Help Little Dotty Doorn

Krystina & Jeremy Doorn’s daughter, Dotty, was born on 5/29/19 (~6 weeks old). We’re not sure why but Dotty is struggling and hasn’t been a been able to gain weight. At about 6 weeks old, Dotty is still just shy of 6 pounds. Dotty was hospitalized last week for tube feeding. Krystina & Jeremy live in Bozeman, Montana, and we received news today that they are sending her to Children’s Hospital in Seattle. The family is driving to Seattle tonight as they don’t have any flights from Bozeman this evening.

Due to complications with their insurance, they’ve already had over $10k in out-of-pocket expenses and we know there will be thousands (or tens of thousands) more depending on Dotty’s care plan. Sadly, Krystina had a very challenging pregnancy with a lot of complications and expenses adding to the financial burden.

The next step is for Dotty to be assessed by the appropriate medical staff which will include an MRI. We’re hoping to raise some money for the Doorn family to help offset this tremendous financial hardship.
