Help Keep The North Pole Going

The time has come were the North Pole will not be permitted by the city to continue after the 2018 season. This means I have to find a new location for the North Pole display. The funds raised will be used for securing a place for 2019 season. Also funds used for insurance and securing electric service for the display. For years we brought happiness and joy to thousands of disabled children who were shunned and made fun of how they looked at were not considered normal. I believe every child no matter how they turned out are the-most beautiful d special individuals. Also our display focused on the elderly who are in nursing homes and are forgotten by family members. We should always respect our elders and treat then with the respect they deserve. Remember they brought us into the world and they took care of us when we were children. For past few years we have been told by city that people did not like our display because either they did not like seeing it when they drove by, or we put it up to early. Also it brought people into the neighbor hood and some did cause a issue. I want to make one thing clear the 8 complaints we received this year were some of my neighbors, not all my neighbors. Some of my neighbors love what we are doing. But unfortunately I stand against many people who do not want me to continue the mission and they were sided by the city and not us. However we were not told of this to after the fact. It hurts us that those people did not come to us instead they sent the engineer department of the city and told us we had to take down part of our display that brought so much happiness to those who need it the most at this time of year. 
So my wife and my sons who one is on a ventilator and feeding tube which we care for at our house have decided its best to find a location that would be acceptable to our display. During our operation of the display we have raised over 3 tons of food for the food shelters and $3,000 as well. My family have matched the monetary amounts over the years. Our display has brought thousands of dollars to the local establishments from visitors visiting our display each year. 
In closing we understand that we can not go through these issues every year and it seems we are a burden to people in this community. Our display stands for joy and happiness and our family will not tarnish that image going forward.  Our family will always be grateful for the support of people we have now and for those who we will encounter in the near future.
