Please help me raise funds for SkatePal and spread the stoke!
In May this year I will be travelling to Palestine to teach children how to skateboard as a volunteer for the non-profit charity SkatePal.
Although the trip will be mostly self funded I am asking for donations to help SkatePal continue it's award winning work, which has benefitted so many children in recent years in one of the world's most conflicted areas.

Having skateboarded for over half my life I feel volunteering as a skate coach is an amazing opportunity to give something back and spread my love of skateboarding in a truly positive way.

Where will your money go?
Equipment - As there are no skateboard shops in Palestine access to equipment is severely limited. SkatePal has developed relationships with many leading skateboard suppliers and companies which means that equipment is cheaper, which means bigger involvement for the children.
Just 20 euros will provide a child with a used complete skateboard set up.
30 euros will provide a child with a brand new skateboard set up.
For the price of a few pints you could potentially change a child's life, giving them a positive outlet and fun activity to distract them from the problems they may face living under occupation.
Building supplies - One of the charities biggest accomplishments is the building of permanent concrete skateparks in Palestine. These can be costly to make but the benefits of them as a social hub and safe place for children to play and progress is priceless. Your donations may also be used to pay for building supplies/equipment in order to build new spaces for children to utilise.
Every donation big or small will make a difference so please try and help me raise as much money as possible to help the kids of Palestine.
