Help for Nomalee Lane
Donation protected
Nomalee Lane was born to my niece, Jessica Knickerbocker and Miles Gregory on October 22, 2018.
Almost immediately, her mom noticed that she made a strange grunting sound, all the time. Her food intake started declining almost immediately. On Wednesday, November 7, the doctor examined her and thought she was “perfect”. On Thursday, she had an episode of choking and vomiting. On Saturday, during family photos, Mom and Dad noticed that her abdomen was distended and took her to the ER.
At the hospital, they did an X-ray and said that she had a mass in her abdomen and sent the family to Riley Hospital for Children in Indianapolis.
Monday, November 11, 2018, Nomalee will be having surgery to do a biopsy and, hopefully, remove part of the mass. At this point, the baby is in pain, all the time, since her intestines and stomach are pushed up into a very small area of the abdominal cavity.
This Gofundme will help Mom and Dad cover medical expenses, both current and ongoing, as well as lost income. All funds will be given directly to the family.
Any amount would be greatly appreciated. If you’d prefer to make a donation in person, visit the family’s restaurant, 6 Autumns,in Angola.
