"A  Safe Place To Play"

Julius and I met few years ago, then he went to Africa. Again I saw him at a 4th of July event and I became so inspired by his stories and what he was hoping to accomplish, once he reached his towns and villages in Africa.

A  Gofundme.com  campaign is the right direction in getting started for what he hopes to accomplish within the next 18 months.

Julius used over a decade  collecting shoes, children's books, balls, and anything in between. He knows how blessed kids are in America. He also collected many jerseys, hoses and shoes for the kids. He was able to collect enough soccer outfits for several teams and better still, few girl teams. Yes, a few girl teams. The Santa Rosa Youth League Teams donated soccer jersies.  He uses his own limited resources clearing out his 401k plan to ship a container of what he was able to collect.  Please see photo and other inspiring stories on his Spitfire Leadership & Sports Academy/Ministry Facebook

Please join us in supporting his focus on the children in his town and surroundings in Nigeria-Africa, where life can be a daily struggle, where young students should be able to stay in their country, thrive, learn team spirit and what it is like to be a part of a community of organized sports that should continue on for the next generations.  Learning to be a team player continues through life. Julius’s testimonies is a living proof.

He says.. I need your help to bring smiles, laughter and a sense of hope to children of Africa this Christmass with a campaign call "$25 for December 25th"  that aims to raise funds for...

1. Level out grounds/fields pockmarked with holes. Nice to have lush green fields, but only asking for the bare minimum of grading five fields as a start. To avoid daily injuries.

2. Provide a ball for every child who wants to play soccer.

3. Establish a private safe haven of good field and sorounding for kids to play.

Go to his Facebook and share with your children, friends, co-workers, teammates, family members, churches the everyday life of Nigerians and look at some pictures, show your children what Africa looks like and how children are enjoying sports in this part of the world. Kids love to discover about our world, and with weekly updates. Thanks for making this a reality and God Bless You All.
