PSA!!!!! ⭐⭐WARNING⭐⭐ THIS IS A TRIGGER POST & THERE IS GRAPHIC IMAGES THAT MAY BE DIFFICULT FOR SOME TO LOOK AT!!

2 months ago, on December 10, 2018 my life changed forever!! I was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of my own husband. I was attacked in my home & in front of our 3 children. I was pushed, thrown around like a rag doll, knocked down, beaten with his fists, verbally abused, hit with his keys & whopped with his lanyard made of Nylon rope (he is wearing it around his neck in the picture I posted). My 12 year old saved my life. As unfortunate as it was for my children to witness everything, I thank God my 12 year old was there because Who knows if I would have made it out alive if there was no one there to call for help. My husband took my phone & tried to fight me for my keys. My son called 911 & my husband chased him, kicked in his door & took the phone from his hands while the police were on the phone. I have never been so scared IN MY LIFE!! Every blow to my head I was thinking to myself "I am about to die infront of my children!" As my son stood in tears yelling "dad stop!!!!" Over & over as he watched me getting beaten..... he made a brave decision to run across the street & have the neighbors call for help once again. I was taken in an ambulance to the hospital. I suffered several injuries to my head & face, a fractured nose & bruises all over my body. I now have scars on my face thay will never go away & it will always be a reminder of what happened that night. They caught him & was taken to jail but made bond the next day. These past 2 months have been hell but I have been pushing through it & I am doing everything in my power to have a better life for myself & my children. All awhile, while I am dealing with the after math of everything...... The healing, the mental & emotional stress of it all & trying to move forward in life.....my husband's grandmother (my children's great grandmother) slams me with an eviction notice. Which means she is putting not only me out but also my 3 children (her grandchildren). I am trying my best to stay positive & think of the great out come at the end. My god is an Awesome god & I know he's looking out for me. I WILL NOT LET THIS DEFY ME!! If you or someone you know is a victim of domestic violence I have a few words for you.....
You are beautiful. You are brave. It's ok to walk away, you are stronger than you think you are. Stand up. Speak out. Don't settle. Let your voice be heard. Love yourself. Know your worth. & most importantly....YOU ARE NOT ALONE!
