Help Emily step up to big school

Emily's journey so far, told by her Mum, Natasha:
"Emily was born at term at a tiny 6Ib 3oz, but she struggled to breathe by herself from the get go. She spent some time in Ashford hospital, The Evelina Children's Hospital, but eventually went under the care of Great Ormond Street Hospital. They have done several tests on Emily's lungs but we don't have a formal diagnosis. All they know is that it is a form of Interstitial lung disease.
They soon realised in order for her to come home she would need to be on a ventilator 24/7. She receives this via her Tracheostomy. She is also tube fed straight into her stomach and has had an operation to fix her reflux which was adding to her damaged lungs. After 19 long months we were discharged home in July 2015.
Emily has made amazing progress, finished nursery and is now ready for big school in September. We have an amazing team of nurses who take her to school and sit with her at night to make sure her Tube stays in and so we can rest.
Emily suffers from severe hypo mobility and often falls over or has a lot of feet, knee and hip pain. We see a physio who gives us exercises to do with her and to hopefully make her as strong as she can be. But not having all the same equipment at home sometimes makes this difficult and we have to improvise a lot."
I started running in January and will be running my first Half Marathon on 2nd September to raise money to purchase physio equipment for Emily, similar to the equipment below. Each piece costs around £50. With Emily starting primary school just after my race it will be brilliant if we can raise some money to buy a few pieces to make the transition as smooth as possible, and so she can continue to get stronger each day, and live her life to the full.
(Kent Coastal Half Marathon, 9.30am, Sunday 2nd September, start and finish at Palm Bay School, Cliftonville - running to the Granville Cinema Ramsgate and back!)
