Help Darius help others in the Nicola Valley

You may remember back in 2020, Darius Sam drew the attention of many with his courage, determination, and drive to run 100 miles in support our local food bank, here in Merritt BC. Over the next year Darius was able to continue support for others in our community and now he will take on this, his final of three fundraising runs. Darius will be running the Moab 240 Endurance Run in Utah on October 8th, 2021. Darius is asking for all those who would like to show their support for him and our community to donate in his name. He needs us behind him, and this is a great way to show your support for this caring young man.

This events beneficiary will be the Nicola Valley Shelter and Support Society. The funds will help this non-profit continue to deliver services to some of our communities most marginalized individuals. Whether community members require assistance with addiction services, housing, mental health, or just a few moments spent with a peer who understands many of the current struggles, community members can make the first step by connecting here.
