Help Angela's Special Needs Family of Three

Angela and her two boys--one of whom is Autistic--need help with food and gas and rent to make it through the summer until she can return to work as a special needs classroom assistant (in the fall).


Angela, who is going through a bitter divorce, has been my neighbor for several years. When she told me about  what happened to her family, I felt the need to step in and help, so I contacted another mutual friend--Yvonne--who has known Angela for many more years. Together, Yvonne and I are raising money to buy gift cards to give to Angela for food, gas, and rent so that she and her two boys can stay in their rental home and not get evicted. 


Being in the midst of a messy divorce is bad enough, but doing it with an autistic child and with no temporary means of support, is hard to imagine.


We are asking for donations of 5.00 and up to help Angela and her two boys stay in their home. She is not used to being in need of financial support, she is usually the one to reach out and help others but things are very scary right now and this is urgent.
