Help Akadian

Friday November 2nd Amanda took little Akadian into Bend because because he seemed like he was struggling to breathe. He was admitted to St. Charles to figure out the breathing and get his fever under control and so on. He was later transferred to the NICU to be put on a c-pap machine and more IV's. The staff was unable to stabilize his vitals so the began the process to transfer to Dorbechers in Portland where he is currently still being taken care of. Akadian is fighting with everything he has. I will post the updates that his mom Amanda has posted to have the correct information for all to read if you have not had the chance. Akadian was recently placed on an ecmo machine making things very unknown for this little guy. Amanda and Mark have been with him every moment. She just returned to work after being off for maternity leave. Akadian is just 8 weeks old. He has 2 big sisters at home and the family is helping keep things in order while they are away.
