INTRO
hello everyone my name is sam and i currently live with my father paul weinhouse and my mother shari weinhouse in las vegas nevada, ive never been the type to ask for help in this manner but our troubles have reached the point where all other options have been exhausted if this was only me in this situation i wouldnt be doing this but its not about me its about helping my mother who currently suffers from a number of different illnesses including type 2 diabetes, gastropareses, and has 2 disc buldges and a herniated disc on her lower back worse yet i only just found out a few days ago that after a recent cat scan done on her head she was told that she may have a brain tumor but wont know for sure with out further testing

1. BACKSTORY/OUR STORY
Our troubles orginally started several years back when my father lost his job driving a cab which restulted in us being evicted from the house we lived in we then moved in with a friend of the family during that time my father had a courrier job delivering paychecks and i worked at a taco bell everything was ok until we fell behind on car payments, even though arrangements had been made to make payments they decided to impound the car anyway which made it so my father couldnt do his job delivering paychecks without a vehicle and my job was too far to get to by other means this is the point where our downward spiral trully began at this point we had a falling out with the person who owned the house we were living in so we were forced to move
My father was only able to get jobs distributing pizza/resturaunt flyers at the time due to the fact that he drove a cab for give or take 15 years nearly all of his work experience revolves around driving a vehicle this made it very difficult to find a proper job doing something that didnt involve driving and have the ability to get to and from without a car
At the time this was happening some of my mothers conditions proggressed to the point where her mobility became impared and her other conditions such as her gastroparesis got proggressed as a result of her diabetes getting worse, this resulted in me having to stay home and help her around the house as her caretaker i did what i could to make money when possible such as participating in focus groups, got an ebt snap card for food, and pawned everything of value but between me and my father it just wasnt enough and for the next several years we moved from one extended stay residence to another with a couple short stays at a condo/apartment between nearly all of which we were evicted from due to failure to pay rent
2.BACKSTORY/OUR STORY CONTINUED
A few years of this went on until things seemingly started to get better as we managed to keep up on our rent for about 3 years mostly due to my father finding much better work doing manual labor/farm work for a lawer and a few other people unfortunatelly while our financial situation started getting better my mothers condition was getting much worse to the point where she has lost nearly all mobility in her legs which means as much as i needed to generate income to help at the time i had to stay home most of the day and help take care of her ive researched starting some sort of home based business but anything thats legitimate requires an investment that i currently cant afford which puts me in a very tough spot at the time the only income we have between us is the money my father makes every day and the ebt benefites we get every month unfortunately the rest of our family has either completly turned their backs on us or dont have the means to help meaning all options we can think of have been exhausted leading me to create this gofundme account in the hopes that i can help give my mother a better life before she dies
With all that said this is where our situation currently stands
3. OUR CURRENT SITUATION
Just last week we were evicted from our home of almost 3 years due to falling behind on rent which meant we had to find somewhere to live the problem with that is at this point we had been thrown out of so many places under my parents name nowhere would take us in for the money we had so we ended up moving into a harbor island(weekly residence) under my name i had to leave their names off the lease or they wouldnt have let me in at all we didnt even have the money to pay for the pet deposit for our dog
After almost 3 days of moving/unpacking the first morning we were there after having only slept there one night we get a knock on the door thinking it was maintenence having scheduled them to come that morning to fix a few things i answered the door only to be confronted by the manager and an armed security guard telling us that one of their associates recognzed us from another residence and she knew my parents were staying there with me and that we have a dog (i understand that what we did technically wasnt allowed but we had no other choice we would have been homeless otherwise)we were then told we have ONE HOUR to pack up all of our belongings and vacate the room were only going to refund part of the 2 weeks rent we had initially paid we only ended up getting a little over half what we paid back having other choice we put everything outside and started moving most of our belongings into a storage unit and brought what we could with us in a truck that one of the people my father works for let us use we then spent almost 8 hours looking for somewhere we could go for what little we have driving a pickup filled with our belongings while i followed behind on our moped at almost 3 in the morning we finally found a motel 6 that we could afford and would take us in this all happened about 5 days ago
As of now we are currently staying at a motel 6 with no way to even cook food aside from a microwave which makes it very difficult for shari to eat the proper types of food during the last few months her conditions have gotten to the point that she has to use a wheelchair to get around most of the time the problem with that is the room we are in is too small for her to use the wheelchair properly so she has to use a cane to help move around for the time being which is very difficult for her to do she currently uses a medical van (mtm) to get to and from doctors appointments as our only transportation is a 50cc icebear moped leaving her virtually homebound for anything other than medical needs my father is working as much as he can but the daily rent here takes almost everything he makes making it very difficult to move into a normal home, after learning that shari may have a tumor, if it turns out to be true (i can only hope it is not) i fear she may not have much longer to live bringing me to put my natural unwillingness to ask for help aside in the hope that maybe people will donate enough help to get us back on the right track before anything might happen to her
4. OUR GOAL/HOW YOUR DONATIONS WILL HELP
The goal i have set would cover the costs of moving paying the utilities and expenses needed to get into a home suitable to accomidate my mothers needs this will also cover the cost of the needed credentials my father needs to drive a cab again we never had financial issues in the past because he would make money daily on top of his paycheck another thing this would accomplish is possibly finding help looking after my mother so i can get a job of my own once again if that doesnt happen for one reason or another i will likely use that part of it to invest in a home based business(ebay/amazon) and work mainly from home while looking after her until the time comes that we find a better solution having exhausted all other options i fear its only a matter of time before we are homeless if something doesnt change fast and thats not what i want for any of us especially my mother who might not have alot of time left with us i would like to see her in a home she deserves and is happy to live in during what could be as short as her final months with us
