Thanks for checking out my fund raiser. I'm Helen Bird, artist, photographer, RN and writer. Some call me abstract, some psychedelic, some just plain crazy, but then aren't we all? I grew up in England, born at home in a tiny place called Goring-on-Thames and then emigrated to the US in 1989 with a nursing degree where I cared for oncology patients, children and their families in particular for 21 years. In 2010, I shifted gears and took my love of writing, art & photography to the streets where I still dwell amongst humanities finest and neediest. I reject most trappings of Western society and prefer a simple life with no television, clocks or mirrors. This allows me to explore the workings and manifestations of the inner mind and self inorder to express God's wondrous gift of art & music.
