Heart of Anacortes Sound Equipment Replacement
Tax deductible
On December 8, 2018, The Heart of Anacortes storage room, which housed the sound and lighting equipment, was burglarized and, sadly, much of the sound equipment was stolen, including soundboards and related electronics, main speakers, monitors and microphones. We are asking for your help to replace this equipment so that we all can continue to feel the beat at the Heart of Anacortes.
The Heart of Anacortes is a magical part of our town that has been providing a venue for art, music and community since 2011. In 2017 a sound and light system was purchased by the Rick Epting Foundation for the Arts (a 501C3 org.) to be stored and used primarily at The Heart for events such as music, poetry slams, fundraisers, benefits, open houses, library programs and numerous concerts, including the library's Manieri Jazz & Swing concerts and the City of Anacortes Free Summer Concert Series.
REFA is a non-profit organization so your contribution would be considered tax deductible.
