Hola! Me llamo Celia, tengo 18 años, y este verano por fin cumplo uno de mis sueños: conocer África. Y qué mejor que hacerlo con España Rumbo al Sur, una fundación en la que yo y 130 jóvenes más nos lanzamos a hacer una expedición a Etiopía.
Desde pequeña he tenido gran curiosidad por otras culturas y no hay nada que me llene más que ir descubriendo poco a poco sitios nuevos, gente nueva y experiencias nuevas.
El objetivo de este proyecto es APRENDER, aprender de los demás, aprender a valorar, aprender a ayudar, aprender a vivir el momento, aprender a saber quién eres. Me siento privilegiada por poder emprender rumbo a Etiopía con gente que tiene sueños grandes, y que sienten la misma impotencia que yo por vivir en un mundo de tanta desigualdad.
Siempre he pensado que nacemos donde nacemos por casualidad, pero que somos lo que somos por elección. Por eso creo que cada vez que se presente una oportunidad para mejorar (aunque solo sea un poco) este mundo, hay que aprovecharla y dar el 100% de nosotros.
Es por eso que, en vez de darle tantas vueltas a las cosas, por fin voy a poder pasar a la acción. Pero necesito ayuda. La expedición tiene un coste de 1500 euros que tengo que financiarme por mi cuenta, y estoy haciendo todo lo posible para conseguirlo. Así que te estaría tremendamente agradecida si me pudieses echar una mano.
No hay nada más bonito que ayudarse los unos a los otros. Nunca sabes cuándo puedes ser tú el que necesites ayuda y siempre te va a venir bien que alguien te eche una mano. Al final es todo lo que importa. Que la gente crea en ti no siempre es fácil. Por eso pido que me des la oportunidad de demostrarte que en este mundo las cosas entre todos están mucho mejor hechas.

Hi, my name is Celia, I´m 18, and this summer my dream of visiting Africa is finally coming true. And what a better way to do it than with "España Rumbo al Sur", a foundation in which I and 130 other young entrepreneurs set out to make an expedition to Ethiopia.
The main purpose of this project is to LEARN: learn from others, learn to value, learn to help each other, learn how to live the present, discover who we really are. I feel truly privileged to be able to embark towards Ethiopia with people with huge dreams, and who feel the same helplessness as I do for living in a world of so much inequality.
I have always thought that we are born where we are born just by chance, but that we are what we are by choice. That is why I really think that every single time there is an opportunity to improve (if only a little) this world, we must seize it and give the 100% of us.
That is why, instead of turning things around so much, I will finally be able to take action. But I need help. The expedition has a cost of 1500 Euros that I have to finance on my own, and I am doing everything possible to get it. That's why I would be tremendously grateful if you could help me out.
There is nothing more beautiful than helping each other. You never know when you could be the one who needs help and it will always feel good when someone gives you a hand. In the end it is all that matters. Getting people to believe in you isn´t always easy. That is why I ask you to give me the opportunity to show you that in this world things done between everyone are much better done.
