Harvey Helpers for US Veterans

We are a dedicated group of volunteers organized to assist in relief efforts including clean up, mold remidiation and repairs after Hurricane Harvey. Our primary focus is to help military veterans, the elderly and those less fortunate who may not have had insurance and cannot afford to hire contractors. We are on weekend #2 helping military veteran Larry Rabe restore his home which was annihilated by the storm. Unfortunately the income from his small business and modest disibility benefits were not enough to afford insurance. The destruction is catastrophic. We need your help! we are limited by time, money, and numbers. Funds raised will first be used to complete Larry's project so his family can come home safely. We are still in need of many items; electric stove, washing machine, dryer, kitchen cabinets, counter tops, flush assisted toilet (2), fence staples, Sawsall, power cords, pneumatic nail gun for nails, insulation, dry wall, and so much more. Funds will also be allocated to help us pay for fuel to get down there and back. Anything helps, thank you in advance for your support.
