7 DAYS TO DONATE TO HAPTA's KAUAI FLOOD FUND!

As many of you already know, Kauai was hit with heavy rains and flooding that has caused severe damage to the beautiful island. Hundreds of people were evacuated as homes were damaged or destroyed, and collective efforts are still going towards helping those families and the island recover. Our very own chapter president, Gregg Pacilio, is a local resident of Kauai and has seen first-hand the effects of this natural disaster. Bison and farm animals swept into the ocean, sink holes, and unpassable trails are just some of the unforeseen events.
Hapta is working together with Malama Kauai to help the people of Kauai and needs your help. The needs are always changing daily so we are planning a donation drive this week to give to Malama Kauai. This upcoming weekend will be HAPTA's Spring Conference in Lihue, Kauai and there is no better way to give back.
You can help by donating through the HAPTA's GO FUND ME website this week or at the spring conference course in Lihue. We will also have a donation box at the course, and HAPTAs Pub night on Saturday at Kauai beer Company (see flyer for details). Can foods and non-perishable food donations will be accepted as well for the Kauai food Bank.
We will close donations on Sunday, April 6 at noon, when we will present our donation to Malama Kauai.
