Project Rebuild for Haiyan Survivors

Donation protected

More than food, survivors need shelter and livelihood to start their life anew"”after Haiyan claimed and orphaned thousands of lives, damaged billions-worth of properties, left thousands homeless and jobless, traumatized those who survived.

We will help them in building their life and we will start with their livelihood. The donation will be used in repairing fishermen's boats in different towns in northern Cebu. We will also conduct art therapy for kids. We have coordinated with reputed organizations in different towns and photos will be posted here. You can also check my blog backpackingwithabook.com for more photos and narratives, which will be published in a local or national news daily.

Last November 14-17, I went to Palompon, Leyte to send our personally gathered reliefs to those who badly needed them. Now, it is time to focus on Cebu, my beloved province.

For more photos, check photos on Aldo Banaynal's Facebook. He is a local photojournalist here in Cebu. Or check Allan Monreal's. He heads the Back to the Sea Project in Bantayan Island. I will be going to Bantayan Island on the first week of December to personally send the donation.

Your help will not only put smiles on Cebuano's faces but also strengthen their dignity in building a post-Haiyan life.

Thank you,

Sincerely,
