A Journey of Documenting and Giving
My third Habitat for Humanity Global Village project will take our Portland team to Cochabamba, the third largest city in Bolivia.
Our team led, by Stacy Allison, will be helping with the construction of bathrooms and water tanks for low-income families in a vulnerable neighborhood of the city. Approximately 60% of the population of the population in Bolivia does not have stable living conditions
Our projects goals are simple, to improve the health conditions for families by improving of their living conditions. We will be working with families with children with cancer, working to make their homes sanitary so the children coming home after cancer treatment, have much better chance of getting well.
I will be part of build team and also will be documenting the build and the people we will be helping.

We leave for Bolivia May 31st and the build begins on June 1st.
