Rayna's Healing Journey
Hi, my name is Rayna and I’m asking you to help me pay for a treatment that can free me from severe headache pain that I suffer from 24/7. I’m 14 years old, and I live in Madison, WI with my mom, Kristina Amelong. I used to have a great life, doing things like ballet, tap dancing, painting, pottery, and acting in plays.
But since my fall off the trapeze at age 9, and then the two car accidents where we were rear-ended by careless drivers, my condition has worsened and now I’m in constant severe pain, often with nausea and vomiting. And the scary thing is, it’s getting worse every day.
I’m asking for your help to pay for a treatment that will correct the severe whiplash that my new dentist believes is the root of my pain. We need $16,000, and I’m sure we can raise it, one donation at a time! Please give whatever you can to help me recover a normal happy life! Thank you so much!

A message from Rayna's mom, Kristina Amelong
When Rayna was four, she jumped into a pool and landed on another child's head with her chin. At age nine, she fell off a trapeze, landing on her face. The trapeze accident resulted in frequent headaches, depressed immunity, and visual challenges. In December 2013 and February 2014, Rayna was in two car accidents, taking away her ability to read, to be in school, and to be in visual demanding environments, such as crowds and grocery stores, without her pain continually sending her to the emergency room.
We know that Rayna can heal. My name is Kristina Amelong; I'm Rayna's mother and the developer of the healing resources of Optimal Health Network. These alternative health resources come from my own healing journey out of trauma, celiac disease, and multiple chemical sensitivities.
Due to my knowledge and experience, we have not given up, and are working extensively with Western, Eastern and alternative methods of healing the brain and the nervous system. As depicted in the movie "Concussion," starring Will Smith, recovering from traumatic brain injuries is an emerging healing art.
