Bring "C" Home

We have been given the initial green light to begin the adoption process of a lovely girl in Mexico. Through friends there, we were made aware of C and we are excited to add her to our family. While the kids and I were on the Rotary Club medical mission to Guerrero, I was lucky enough to meet her briefly before her backstory was shared with me. In that moment I knew I needed to call Peter immediately. Naturally, when I asked him what he thought of trying to add her to our family he said, "Yes, of course!" He's the best. Those of you who know him well know- that is exactly what he would respond with! 
     For my birthday this year, I'd simply like your help in starting a long journey (with my darling Peter and kiddies) to eventually bring C home to us.  We can't share too many details because her privacy is incredibly important but- I'd certainly appreciate the equivalent of one birthday drink* or food truck dinner to help defray costs.
      We know adoption is incredibly expensive and totally worth it. Your donation helps us begin the process of a home study, the first leg in the adoption process. We've already identified our desired Local Agency and are awaiting referrals for our Hague Accredited Primary Provider, for the international piece. I plan on taking a job this year to help cover the costs of the adoption (15K-30K) and my mother is coming out to help us continue to homeschool the kids. It's a huge family effort. Peter and I appreciate your birthday drink or food truck dinner equivalent donation.  We certainly know C will! Thank you! 

*Obviously, you can use the price of an import beer in Iceland as a guide. Just Kidding! Dollar Draft is fine! I send you all hugs and much love. It's my last year in my 30s (and I couldn't care less about that detail! I love aging and I love every year that I can add to my tree).
