Many people and animals in Houston have been flooded during Hurricane Harvey.

We are one of those families. Many friends and family members have been asking me how they can help so, I set up this Go Fund Me program to help us get back on our feet.

We are caring for an elderly, disabled, diabetic woman with a large dog and two of our own dogs.

We have never flooded before so, we did not have flood Insurance.

Please give what you can, any amount will help.

We promise to pay it forward.

We have lost wages, furniture, our floors and most of our walls.

We sure could use your help.

We got most of the drywall, carpet and soaked insulation out and now we are working on getting the floors out.

We will be so grateful to you for ANYTHING you can spare.

I am the main contact and promise to make sure this money gets used in the way you want it to.  We also want to make sure we give back to the volunteers too!

Most of them went through the flood also. It's AMAZING to see the people who lost everything are here helping their neighbors and friends.

Thank you for the fans, dehumidifers and blowers and boxes. We are still drying the wood out before we can start the rebuilding.

We have to to dry it out before the mold starts to grow.

Positive, loving  kindness is always top priority!

Hurricane Harvey Update

Things have settled down quite a bit. Dogs are calming down, we have thick plastic sheets/blankets and towels down for a temporary floor.

We have the fans and dehumidifiers going strong. and we are drying out slowly but surely.. .

We are pretty close to calling the contractor back to ck the water % in the wood.

I am checking in! As of today 9-12-17 we have all the muck out of the house and we are drying the wood. We have fans and dehumidifiers in every room blowing like crazy. The city has not picked up the trash in a while but, I'm sure we are on the list.

Thank you for all your well wishes, prayers and donations. I can't express my gratitude enough and as soon as I have walls again I will reach out to share again and thank you for your kindness.

It's so hard to see our whole lives out on the lawn. Most of my neighbors lost most everything. My next door neighbor was out of the state adopting a child and could not get back in town in time to save anything. We are busy removing all that the water destroyed and drying out what we could save.
A long recovery but, WE ARE STRONG!
